Boğaziçi University’s Institute of Film and Media Studies presents a selection of films from contemporary German cinema of the 2010s in its May 2024 film screening program.
This month’s list includes acclaimed works from leading directors of contemporary German cinema such as Christian Petzold, Jan-Ole Gerster, and Nora Fingscheidt, whose works have garnered great praise at prestigious international film festivals. These films, acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, allow viewers to explore the spirit and aesthetic of contemporary German cinema.
